Denham Hitchcock is a Reporter for the Seven Network’s flagship Sunday Night program. He has more than 22 years experience in TV news and current affairs and has had a front row seat to some of the biggest historical events in recent memory. He has reported everywhere from the front lines against Islamic State in Iraq, to the red carpet at the Oscars. He’s told inspirational stories, conducted memorable interviews and has seen the best and worst of mankind.

Denham began his career in news straight out of high school at the age of 18, and worked his way through the ranks. During his career his roles have included being chief of staff, producer, executive producer, editor, reporter and foreign correspondent.
He has worked in seven different newsrooms in three countries, including two years in London and four years in Los Angeles as the U.S Correspondent for Channel Nine.
From the pressure of daily news and constant live crosses, to long format documentaries and current affairs, Denham has worked on shows ranging from the Today Show, Sunrise, the main 6pm news bulletins, 60 Minutes and Sunday Night.
It’s been a career that has taken him around the globe, from North America to Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Central and South America. Stories Denham has covered include the emergence of the Zika virus, Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, the Boston Bombings, the papal election in The Vatican City, Super Hurricane Sandy, the death of Osama Bin Laden, the drug cartel war in Juarez Mexico the massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school, the last shuttle lift-off, the Samoa earthquake and tsunami, and four years of red carpet mayhem at the Oscars.
Denham has also done many profile interviews with celebrities including Margot Robbie, Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon, Johnny Depp, Lionel Richie, Kelly Slater, Dolly Parton and Betty White to name a few.
