Head of Independence Division, Transport Accident Commission (TAC)
Liz has over 25 years experience in the health and disability sector in NZ and Australia. She worked in client support roles in the early days of my career, rapidly moving in to management positions. The last 5 years of Liz’s career have seen her bring her skills to the significant disability reforms in Australia where she worked as a Director at PwC before moving to NDIA, initially as the inaugural Victorian trial site manager and then as GM Operations, before moving to TAC as the Head of Independence in late 2016, where her role is to deliver service delivery and design reforms to achieve the TAC 2020 strategy.
Liz has worked across a wide spectrum of disability (physical, intellectual, cognitive and sensory) and in both publicly-funded and insurance sectors.
Liz brings proven expertise in organisational service design and development. She is highly motivated by contributing to improved performance of both organisations and staff, and in developing systems so the lives and experiences of the service users can be improved, and social insurance schemes remain financially sustainable.
